Soft play structure design and manufacturing
A soft play structure is the piece of equipment that keeps children engaged longest in a family-friendly venue — and in doing so, keeps their parents on site too. While parents have a coffee, enjoy lunch or use the spa, their children are climbing, sliding, jumping and exploring all at once. This multi-level structure is the centrepiece of an indoor playground, the element the entire play area is built around.
Our design process doesn’t start from a catalogue — it starts from your site. By making full use of vertical space, even a seemingly tight footprint can become a high-capacity play world, whether you’re working with support columns, a sloping roof or an irregular floor plan.
Tailored concept, maximum use of space
For us, “bespoke design” doesn’t mean choosing a theme and a few colours. The process starts with a survey of your site: ceiling height, support columns, building services, escape routes — and how the play area can be seen from the reception desk or the restaurant.
During 3D design, we shape the modular steel-tube frame of the structure around exactly these conditions. What would be an obstacle elsewhere — an awkwardly placed pillar, a low beam — often becomes part of the structure here: an engaging play element is built around it, or it ends up supporting a level.
We can adapt the equipment to the particular characteristics of any space.
The result is not a template lifted from a catalogue, but a concept that turns even the smallest dead corner into an engaging play area.
Soft play safety without compromise
In a play centre, safety is not a marketing question — it is operational risk management.
The steel frame is covered with thick, high-density impact-absorbing foam, then wrapped in high-gloss, densely woven European PVC fabric. This delivers striking looks, easy cleaning and exceptional durability in high-traffic venues all at once. Each level is enclosed with heavy-duty knotless safety netting — knotless construction matters because it offers nothing for clothing or fingers to catch on.
Our equipment complies with the EN 1176 series of playground safety standards. Technical testing and certification are carried out by our independent partners, TechnoTestor Kft. and TÜV.
As a result, official handover and the accounting of grant funding can proceed smoothly on your side.
A complete play experience: what goes into a structure?
Commercially, a soft play structure works when children are still not bored on their second visit. That is why we build several types of play element into every structure, so that different ages and temperaments all find something of their own:
- Classic and extreme slides — straight, spiral and wave slides for those who love speed.
- Ball pools — large ball pits that can be extended with ball cannons.
- Skill-building obstacle courses — punch bags, rotating rollers, rope bridges and spider-web towers that develop coordination through play.
- Built-in trampolines — net-protected jumping surfaces integrated directly into the structure.
- Inflatable play elements — we can build our own dynamic inflatable elements into the steel-framed structure.
- Interactive play elements — sensor-based LED play surfaces that turn even a passive wall into an active play area. [More about interactive play systems]
- Toddler play area — a zone of soft foam elements for the youngest children, connected to the main structure but safely separated from the older ones. [More about toddler play areas]
Brand building and premium theming
Alongside the engineering precision of the layout, we match the visual design to your venue’s own identity. Whether the goal is a magical jungle, a futuristic space adventure, a pirate ship or a deep-sea world — we don’t put scenery on the structure, we organise the whole space around a single story.
High-resolution custom graphics printed onto heavy-duty fabric create an immersive experience for children. On request, we can incorporate the hotel’s own mascot character or brand colours.
The result: the playground isn’t just a functional zone — it becomes the venue’s iconic, photogenic feature, something that sets you apart from the competition and that guests share without being asked.
Four steps from first conversation to handover
1
Initial consultation and indicative quote
Every successful project begins with a clear understanding of what you need.
- During our first conversation, we explore your ideas and gather the basic information about the planned site, including the available dimensions and the floor plan.
- Based on this preliminary information, we prepare an indicative quote.
- From this document, you can see right from the start the approximate cost of a soft play structure suited to your site.
- Drawing on our experience of operating play centres, we offer practical advice from the planning stage onwards.
2
Unique design
We leave nothing to chance, and we don’t work from templates. If the scale of the indicative quote suits you, we move on to the formal engineering and design phase.
- Design proposal: If you’re seriously considering a bespoke play centre, we send you a proposal for the design phase itself.
- Site visit: Once the design proposal is accepted, we arrange an in-person meeting combined with a site survey. Together, we discuss your ideas and assess the characteristics of the space.
- Visual design and finalisation: We produce the visual designs, the detailed technical specification and the final costings, and present them to you in person or online, in a fully transparent way.
3
Manufacturing and installation
This is the most critical stage of building a play centre — and the one where our decades of manufacturing experience are your guarantee.
- Contract: Together we finalise the details and sign a contract that sets out every important condition.
- European manufacturing: Production begins at our own facility in Komló. Every stage is subject to strict quality control, ensuring safety and a high standard of finish.
- Installation: Our experienced team delivers the finished equipment and assembles it on site.
4
Handover and ongoing support
For us, handover isn’t the end of the relationship — it’s the start of a long-term partnership. As a family business, we work with every client as if we were making the equipment for ourselves.
- After installation, we formally hand over the play equipment along with the documentation required for certification.
- Our expert team remains on hand for maintenance needs and operational advice.
- Our aim is that you get not just a product from us, but a reliable, long-term partner.

Don’t leave your investment to chance. Our specialists look forward to hearing from you, so we can find the premium solution that best fits your business model and your site.
Frequently asked questions about indoor playgrounds
It depends on the complexity and size of the project, but on average it takes between 6 and 12 weeks.
That depends on several factors, including your venue’s business model and footfall. We’re happy to talk through the numbers for your specific site during the initial consultation.
Our service covers the design of the play centre, its complete installation, and the fee for obtaining the permits required to put it into operation.
Naturally, additional equipment, furniture, decoration and supplementary services beyond the play equipment itself are charged separately.
We manufacture fully bespoke play equipment from premium materials, designed specifically for each site, at our own facility in Hungary.
We believe in the quality of our products and our work, so we aim to offer the strongest warranty we can. Because a play centre involves many different components, our warranty is tiered by component type — we’ll set out the details in your quote.
We come out as soon as possible, assess the extent of the problem and start fixing it straight away. Warranty repairs take priority
